Research confirms what those who meditate have experienced for themselves: Meditation is good for us. Practitioners manage stress more effectively, experience greater clarity and focus and are able to respond to emotions with a sense of calm versus reactivity. Mediation has been shown to alleviate symptoms of clinical disorders such as depression, anxiety, eating disorders and insomnia.
